Tablet advice
So I have some scholarship money left over from this semester and I'm seriously considering buying a Wacom tablet-my first ever!

I think I'm going to go with an Intuos3 (6 by 8), and because I can get a student discount it'll come to about $300 AU

.
So this is just a general appeal to anyone who has used a tablet and can give me any advice about your experience eg. should I get a bigger size? skip the Intuos3 and go for the Intuos4? buy a different pen?
I know that a tablet does not an artist make, but sharing a tiny flat like I am at the moment it really does make sense to splurge and get one. I just don't have the desk space to be able to use my traditional art materials and most of them are in storage at the moment *le sigh*. Also I'm really bad at drawing with a mouse and I LOVE working with an undo button!
Quote of the moment...
The trouble with having an open mind, of course, is that people will insist on coming along and trying to put things in it.

Dr Eliza JS: Do you believe it's OK to be a sensitive snake?
Gabriel: Why, yes I rather do. Would you prefer if I was homicidal megalomaniac like my first children?
